Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches

The other day we had eddies mom and brother over and he wanted to do something different for dessert. I was watching Food Network earlier in the day (surprise surprise) and on one of the shows they made ice cream sandwiches . . . I had never made my own ice cream sandwiches before soooooo I did :)
 
Double Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients:
Betty Crocker Double Chocolate Chuck Cookie Mix
1/2 to 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
1/4 Cup Oil
2 Tbsp. Water
1 Egg
Vanilla Ice
Peppermint Bark - chopped (optional)

Directions:
1) Add White Chocolate Chips to the Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie then make according to package directions
2) While Cookies are cooling take Ice Cream out of freezer to defrost (about 30 minutes)
3) Add one scoop of ice cream to half of the cookies and top with the other half
4) Roll in chopped peppermint bark to cover the ice cream
5) Place in freezer for at least 1 hour to set up

NOTE:
-You can roll the sandwiches in almost anything or not at all . . .up to you (examples: sprinkles, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, etc.)

Copy Cat - Wingers Rebel Sauce

Since getting a fryer as a wedding present - Fried Naked Wings have definitely made their place into our favorite dinner/party foods. Here in Utah we have a restaurant called Wingers that has one of the best sweet, sticky, spicy sauces that we have ever tried. Wingers does sell their original sauce at the various grocery stores in the area but being the spice lovers that we are we prefer it a little bit spicier (AKA Rebel sauce at the restaurant) which is not sold in stores. However thanks to Pinterest I have found a few copy cat recipes on  Chef in Training  and  Six Sisters Stuff  that feature the original recipe and have adjusted them into a spicier version. Homemade Bread

I've made Pizza Dough now for Years!!!! but never ventured into Bread. However, this weekend Eddie has been feeling sick and that only thing that sounded good to him was bread so when I came across a recipe for homemade bread that was done from start to finish in around 90 minutes figured I'd try it for Breakfast and see what happens.  Thank You Cooking with Karli because this bread is DELICIOUS! I made a few adjustments because my instant pot didn't have the yogurt button but even with my oven method timing was the same. We have been eating this bread all weekend - soooooo good!
