The other day me and Eddie were really craving Burritos and wanted to make our Carne Asada Burritos Doesn't it look good? So we went to Trader Joe's to pick up the meat (Trader Joe's Carne Asada) and they were all sold out!!!! We had to compromise and got the thinly sliced Sirloin. Not quite sure what the spices are that Trader Joe's Uses I had to compromise with a mix of Chipotle and Taco Seasoning. . . the mix turned out to be a pretty good substitution - not as spicy as the original but definitely the same flavor profile I LOVE these little cubes! Now that I am working 8 hours a day 5 days a week the Crock Pot has become my Best Friend . . . seriously easiest way to prepare dinner -Here's what we made last night Frank's Crock Pot Chicken Burritos Ingredients -Chicken Breast -Franks Hot Sauce -Taco Seasoning -Tortillas and your favorite burrito fixings Directions: 1) Throw Chicken Breast and Franks Hot Sauce in a Crock Pot and cook on low for at least 6 hours 2) When ready to serve drain juice and shred chicken 3) Stir in some taco seasoning and more hot sauce if needed 4) Serve in a tortilla with your favorite burrito fixings

I'll admit it I am addicted to Pinterest and post tenzillion recipes and craft ideas but hardly ever do any of them. So before going grocery shopping last week I decided to go through my pins and pick out one recipe to make this week. Typically we make our tacos and burritos with chicken but going through my pins I found an awesome steak recipe that would be good for tacos from Shannon Shaffer on Lifetime Moms . I tweaked it a little bit based on convenience and what we like and in the end it turned out great. With me packing, cleaning up, getting ready for the move and Eddie working late plus wanting to go to the gym and do whatever else our hearts desire . . .cooking dinner lately has not been something we have much time for sooooooo I have pulled out the slower cooker to help out!! Our latest creation is BEER-baque Chicken . . . YUP YUP I spelled that right BEER-baque chicken (lol) and it is super simple which is the best part!!! As much as me and Eddie love going out with the NBA playoffs we have been staying in ALOT. While playing around on our iPad the other day I found  this recipe for Honey Sesame Chicken  and thought why not make some homemade Chinese Take out? Was a little iffy about it not knowing what Eddie would think but to my surprise it was quickly gone, made the house smell AMAZING!!!, and Eddie can't wait to have it again. . . WIN!!!
