Colby Jack Stuffed Crust Pizza

Image
This week has been the week of not having everything I need to make the things I want Eddie wanted me to make pizza last night and typically I make stuffed crust pizza and stuff it with string cheese . . . I had mozzarella but only enough for the pizza so I compromised and stuffed the crust with Colby Jack. . . I was a little worried about it at first but it turned out Great Colby Jack melts a whole lot more than the string cheese so it will seem like the cheese disappeared from the crust when you like at it but as soon as you take a bite it tastes like you're biting into cheesey bread Colby Jack Stuffed Crust Pizza Ingredients: -Pizza Dough -Colby Cheese (cut into String Cheese sized pieces) -Plain Tomato Sauce -Oregano -Basil -Mozzarella -Pizza Toppings STEP BY STEP Instructions Pre Heat Oven to 400 Degrees then Roll out Dough a little bit bigger than you want it and place cheese in a circle about 1 inch from the outside Fold Dough over the Cheese to ...

I don't know how me and eddie come up with some of the things that we do but last night when making pizza eddie suggested we stuffed everything rather than just stuffing the crust. Gluten Free Pizza

Image
While being Gluten Free me and Eddie have been on the Quest trying to find the BEST GF Pizza on the market - whether is was using some kind of crust mix or pre made we tried a lot of different options. . . We tried the Namaste Foods Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix last month with not the best results. The pack came with 2 servings and no matter how much I cooked it or thin I spread the mix it just didn't taste right as you are see here. Since then we have tried two more options: Udi's Gluten Free Pizza Crusts These we found in the freezer section of the grocery store you can either keep them frozen or in the fridge (we keep them frozen and they defrosted in like 15 minutes) It comes with in the bag and they are the size of a personal pizza and you top them with whatever you want then throw them into the oven. While these were defiantly better than the Namaste Foods Pizza Crust they still did have a little bit of a gummy texture to them. If we were to try them again I woul...

PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA

Image
If you didn't know already PIZZA is a favorite in our house. . . Eddie would probably eat pizza every day if he could and it is something we always have the ingredients for along with 1 or 2 frozen pizzas in the freezer. With that said I have always made my pizza with store bought crust whether it be pre-made crust from Trader Joe's or in a can from various grocery stores (next to the can of biscuits). However last week I got the crazy idea to make it myself and with the help of my secret ingredient it is super simple. . . Thank You Pizza Crust Yeast!!!!! Homemade Pizza Crust Ingredients: -3 cups Flour -1 packet Pizza Crust Yeast -1 1/4 cups Warm Water -1/2 teaspoon Salt -1 tablespoon Honey -1 tablespoon Olive Oil Directions: 1) Place 1 cup of flour into a mixing bowl followed by the yeast, water, salt, honey, and olive oil 2) Turn mixer on low or use hands to mix all the ingredients together 3) Slowly add the remaining 2 cups of flour until a dough...

Cheesy Bites Pizza

Image
Quite Frequently Eddie sees commercials on TV and rather then thinking about ordering them he thinks "OOOOO Sabrina Needs to Make That!!!!" The Newest thing that Sabrina needed to make is Cheesy Bites Pizza from the new Pizza Hut commercial (I think . . .don't quote me on that) but figured since I could do stuffed crust pizza this shouldn't be that hard and surprisingly it wasn't  . . . Ingredients : 2 cans premade pizza crusts 1 Package of String Cheese Pizza Toppings Directions : 1) Open 1 Can of Pizza crust and lay out on a baking sheet or pizza stone making the crust as circular as you can 2) Open the second can of pizza crust and lay out on a cutting board keeping the rectangular shape 3) Lay 2 cheese sticks across the top and roll until the cheese in covered in dough 4) Cut the covered cheese stick off then cur each stick into 3-4 pieces (so you end up with 6-8 mini cheese bites) Then place these bites around your crust 5) Repeat until entir...
