Gluten Free Pizza

While being Gluten Free me and Eddie have been on the Quest trying to find the BEST GF Pizza on the market - whether is was using some kind of crust mix or pre made we tried a lot of different options. . .

We tried the Namaste Foods Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix last month with not the best results. The pack came with 2 servings and no matter how much I cooked it or thin I spread the mix it just didn't taste right as you are see here.

Since then we have tried two more options:


Udi's Gluten Free Pizza Crusts
These we found in the freezer section of the grocery store you can either keep them frozen or in the fridge (we keep them frozen and they defrosted in like 15 minutes) It comes with in the bag and they are the size of a personal pizza and you top them with whatever you want then throw them into the oven. While these were defiantly better than the Namaste Foods Pizza Crust they still did have a little bit of a gummy texture to them. If we were to try them again I would probably cook them on the bottom rack of the oven for the same amount of time and temp as on the package to try and get rid of the gumminess because the crust/ends were good (lol)


Trader Joes GF 3 Cheese Pizza
This was defiantly the best Gluten free pizza so far!! Again it was small and personal sized . . .seems to be a trend with gluten free pizza but defiantly the most pizza like gf pizza that we had. The pizza is a cheese pizza topped with sauce, cheese, and tomatoes - - to mix it up I took of the tomatoes and replaced them with pepperoni but technically being a cheese pizza you could add anything you wanted to it. It is the most expensive and one of the smallest pizzas that trader joe's has but if you are on a gluten free diet its worth it.

I love throwing a themed holiday party on Christmas Eve each year for Eddie's Family. Copy Cat - Wingers Rebel Sauce

Since getting a fryer as a wedding present - Fried Naked Wings have definitely made their place into our favorite dinner/party foods. Here in Utah we have a restaurant called Wingers that has one of the best sweet, sticky, spicy sauces that we have ever tried. Wingers does sell their original sauce at the various grocery stores in the area but being the spice lovers that we are we prefer it a little bit spicier (AKA Rebel sauce at the restaurant) which is not sold in stores. However thanks to Pinterest I have found a few copy cat recipes on  Chef in Training  and  Six Sisters Stuff  that feature the original recipe and have adjusted them into a spicier version. Homemade Bread

I've made Pizza Dough now for Years!!!! but never ventured into Bread. However, this weekend Eddie has been feeling sick and that only thing that sounded good to him was bread so when I came across a recipe for homemade bread that was done from start to finish in around 90 minutes figured I'd try it for Breakfast and see what happens.  Thank You Cooking with Karli because this bread is DELICIOUS! I made a few adjustments because my instant pot didn't have the yogurt button but even with my oven method timing was the same. We have been eating this bread all weekend - soooooo good! Homemade Bread Ingredients 1 1/2 tbsp rapid rise yeast 2 1/2 cup very warm water 1 1/2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp sugar, divided 2 tbsp oil, divided 2 1/4 tsp salt 6 cups flour Instructions 1) Using the dough hook, combine all ingredients.
