NYE 2015 Recipe 2: Walnut Cups

After a big Christmas Eve Party for New Years Eve we are keeping it light and easy with appetizers, small bites, and dessert

For this recipe I used the left over that I had from the Walnut Horns I made for Christmas Eve . . .these were super yummy cookies but a total PITA to make -- these were still a little sticky and again I used too much filling but OMG so much easier and just as tasty

NYE 2015 Recipe 2: 
Walnut Cups

8 oz cream cheese
1 cup butter
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 pound ground walnuts
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter

1) Cream together cream cheese and butter
2) Add Flour
3) Divide into 4 equal portions - wrap and place in fridge for at least 2 hours
4) While waiting for dough to get cold mix together remaining ingredients to make filling
5) Pre Heat Oven to 375 degrees
6) Roll out 1 portion of dough and cut into 1 1/2 in squares
7) Place small squares into mini muffin tin and fill with a tsp of filling

8) Bake for 13 minutes
