Italian Holiday Cookie #4: Italian Wedding Cookies
I love throwing a themed holiday party on Christmas Eve each year for Eddie's Family. Growing up as a family we always celebrated Christmas Eve with my Aunt Rose so when we moved to Utah it didn't feel right not doing anything - Hense Christmas at the Aced every Christmas Eve
This years Theme is Italian Christmas Pizza Party and for dessert I am making a ton of Italian Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Butter
3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 cups Ground Almonds
5 tsp Vanilla
3 cups Flour
Directions:
1) Pre Heat oven to 325 degrees
2) Cream Butter and Sugar
3) Add Almonds and Vanilla
4) Mix in Flour
5) Shape Dough into Small Balls
NOTE: Dough is soft but not very sticky if needed put some flour or powdered sugar on your hands before rolling
6) Place Dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes
7) Let cool for 5 minutes then roll in Powdered Sugar
